The field of treatment includes acquired heart valve disease.Generally,it can be broadly divided into the adult cardiology which treats coronary artery disease and aortic disease, the pediatric cardiology which treats congenital heart disease, and the general thoracic surgery, which deals with diseases and carcinomas of the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum, diaphragm, and trachea.
