Surgery

Introduction of the medical department

Surgery department is a department that surgically treats patients' diseases. It has specialized areas such as gastrointestinal surgery, breast and endocrine surgery, colorectal surgery, and hepatobiliary pancreatic surgery. There are 10 professional medical staffs, residents, and nurses all are providing diagnostic services using cutting-edge equipment. We are doing our best to maximize accuracy and increase patient satisfaction.

  • Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery - We diagnose and treat diseases that require surgical treatment, including liver cancer, gallbladder cancer, bile duct cancer, and pancreatic cancer that occur in the liver, biliary tract, and pancreas, as well as intrahepatic cystic lesions, gallbladder and bile duct stones, and pancreatic cysts.
  • Colorectal Surgery - We accurately diagnose and treat various diseases that occur in the small intestine, large intestine, and anus, including colon cancer and rectal cancer.
  • Gastrointestinal Surgery - We surgically treat malignant diseases such as stomach cancer and benign diseases such as ulcers, bleeding, and obstruction of the stomach and duodenum. We also strive to provide faster, more convenient, and higher-quality treatment through collaboration with the Department of Gastroenterology.
  • Trauma critical care surgery - If emergency surgery is required due to peritonitis, bleeding, or abdominal organ damage due to trauma, we provide professional management up to intensive care unit treatment after surgery. We provide intensive care in the intensive care unit to surgical patients who require intensive care due to serious illness or unexpected complications. In addition, we are conducting brain-dead management to share brain-dead organs. If surgery is necessary for an abdominal disease that causes acute abdominal pain, abdominal surgery is performed.
  • Endocrine Surgery - We perform diagnosis and treatment of general diseases of the breast, including breast cancer, as well as functional abnormalities of organs such as thyroid and cervical cancer, as well as benign tumors and cancer.
  • Vascular Surgery - Vascular surgery deals with diseases such as abdominal and peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, dialysis access, and vascular trauma. We provide overall management for these vascular diseases, and treat blocked or narrowed lesions by re-canalizing them through an endovascular approach or creating a surgical bypass. For aneurysms with stretched blood vessels, the aneurysm is excluded through an endovascular approach, or resection or vascular reconstruction using artificial blood vessels is performed.
