hospitalization decision

  • When hospitalization is decided by the doctor in charge of the department Please submit your medical treatment card and ID card to the hospital admission desk on the 1st floor.

Hospitalization procedures

  • Please Fill out the hospitalization agreement form and submit the relevant documents., submit it to the hospital admission desk and you will be informed accordingly by the staff in charge.
  • Required documents : Hospitalization reservation/confirmation Letter,Admission agreement, An identification card

Admission and Treatment

  • If you submit the hospitalization documents to the nurse in the ward , the inpatient treatment will be started after receiving information on inpatient room information and precautions.

Discharge Decision

  • Once discharge is decided from the doctor in charge, please re-confirm the discharge confirmation with the relevant ward nurse. (Discharge is decided one day before discharge decision If necessary, such as a medical certificate, surgery confirmation, opinion, first visit record, test results, CD copy, etc., contact your doctor or doctor 2-3 days before discharge. Please be sure to tell the ward nurse.

Discharge Procedure

  • Hospitalization charges are collected at the hospital affairs team discharge desk on the 1st floor of Building 1.(Please be discharged before 11 a.m.) Submit the receipt to the nurse's office in the relevant ward.
    We will provide you with discharge medication.
    Next outpatient visit date, medication after discharge, future treatment details, and others
    The nurse in charge will explain the precautions in detail.

Ambulance operation range

Transporting emergency patients, transporting blood, transportation of clinical materials for diagnosis and treatment equipment, transportation of emergency medical staff, organ transplant and transportation of the deceased from sites such as accident sites or transportation of the deceased from other hospitals and our hospitals to our funeral parlor, transportation of patients with spinal disorder or with difficulty in movement and items required by the hospital when engaging in emergency activities related to other treatment.

Standard for ambulance costs
  • General ambulance : Basic cost within 10km KRW 45,000 / Additional KRW 1,000 for every 1 km
  • Special ambulance : Basic cost within 10km KRW 75,000 / Additional KRW 1,300 for every 1km
  • Others : Free of charge when transporting patient from homes located in Gwangju City to the hospital (within 10 km)
