Introduction of the medical department

The Department of Ophthalmology is a department that researches and treats diseases related to the eyes. It is staffed by five specialized professors, residents, and nurses in the specialized areas of the external eye department, retina/uvea department, cataract department, oculoplastics department, glaucoma department, and strabismus/neuro-ophthalmology department. We are doing our best to ensure the health of our patients' eyes through accurate and quick diagnosis and treatment using cutting-edge medical equipment.

  • External Eye - We diagnose and treat diseases such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, dry eye, corneal clouding, and keratoconus, and strive to restore vision through corneal transplantation.
  • Retina/Uvea - We diagnose and treat diseases such as various retinopathy including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, uveitis, and vitreous hemorrhage.
