Common Areas

Communal Kitchen A communal kitchen is available on the 9th floor in the west side of the main building. There is a coin-operated microwave. No access to a communal kitchen is allowed after 9 p.m.
Library It is located on the 8th floor in the east side of the main building. It is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
Church Service Center It is located on the 2nd floor at the end of the east side of the main building.
Catholic Chapel It is located on the 2nd floor at the end of the west side of the main building.
Smoking Areas Smoking areas in designated locations outside of hospital only.

Convenient Facilities

Convenient Stores It is located on the first floor in the west side of the main building.
Cafe or Coffee Shops Located in the lobby of the main building and the third floor corridor of annex building

  • Eodeungjin Gukbap (Rice Soup) : located on the 4th floor of the annex building.
  • Gobongmin Kimbap: located on the 1st floor in the east side of the main building.
  • Chinse Restaurant (Mei): located on the 1st floor in the east side of the main building (next to Gobongmin Kimbap).
  • Juk (Porridge) Story: located on the 1st floor in the east side of the main building (across Chinese Restaurant “Mei”)
  • Giardino (Garden): located in the outside building next to the Hospital Administration on the 1st floor in the center of the
    main building
  • Paris Baguette (Bakery): located across Mini Stop (convenience store) on the 1st floor of the main building
Bank & ATM Machines Kwangju Bank located in the center of the 1st floor in the main building with two ATMs
Pharmacies located next to Kwangju Bank in the center of the 1st floor in the main building.
(Drugs prescribed outside the Hospital can be purchased at pharmacies outside the Hospital.)
Medical Supply Store located on the 1st floor in the west side of the main building. You can exit to the west.
